This blog will deal with an issue all of us British gardeners have to deal with, slugs. Hopefully, as I find resources on the web, I’ll add them here (or at least link to them) so that you don’t have to do the searching.
This being the world wide web, hopefully we’ll get a few comments from Gardeners around the work who have some alternative solutions to dealing with slugs.
For a start I’ll be looking in brief at what a slug is, what they like to eat, why they can be a problem and then I’ll start looking at methods for dealing with them. I’ll look at sympathetic planting, physical barrier methods, chemical control and then biological controls, but suggestions are always welcome.
I’ll try to update this site once a week, so don’t worry about getting spammed if you subscribe to the RSS feed.
